The colours seen in the airglow phenomenon depend on the altitude at which the molecules emit their light. More people have been able to take photos of it, too, as our cameras have become more sensitive. Scientific website Futura said that this is probably due to increased activity of the Sun. The phenomenon has been more common in recent years. I’ve had several replies from specialists from across the world.” He continued: “It was the first time that I’ve ever seen an airglow of such intensity. There isn’t a lot of light pollution and the few villages there are, tend to turn their lights off at night.” It’s pretty good for these types of photos. In financial terms, Coleman’s £60,000 transfer fee from Sligo Rovers now works out at £4,000 per season in Everton colours.Ĭoleman and Young were at the forefront of a bright Everton start that was only undermined by carelessness with the final pass and their usual profligacy in front of goal at Goodison this season. The return of the 35-year-old means he has played for Everton for a remarkable 15 seasons in succession. At right-back in came the redoubtable Seamus Coleman for his first appearance since undergoing surgery on a serious knee injury suffered at Leicester in May. The Everton manager responded by moving Doucouré into central midfield and pushing Young to right wing. The home crowd was otherwise focused on pushing Dyche’s team towards only a second home league win of the season, breaking only to boo Anthony Gordon whenever he touched the ball on his return to Goodison.ĭyche was forced to change his team at lunchtime due to James Garner falling ill. The Park End was a sea of green at kick-off, and in the 10th minute, when Everton fans held aloft cards bearing the Premier League logo between the message “Protecting the few, not the many” as part of ongoing protests against the club’s 10-point deduction for a financial breach. Their relentless pressing of Newcastle continued until the final seconds with 38-year-old Ashley Young pursing his man into a corner. There was a determination and desire to the home side throughout. The crowd and perhaps his players might disagree. It’s a difficult one to understand.”ĭyche denied before and after the game that being out of the bottom three would be psychologically important for Everton. Howe added: “Last year our away form was very good but we haven’t got going on the road this season, apart from Sheffield United. Howe declined to use an extensive injury list as an excuse, although the visitors were lethargic in spells and had few answers to Everton’s punishing finale. “Collectively we were off our best tonight.” “Kieran has been absolutely magnificent since he signed for the football club, a big catalyst for what has happened,” said the Newcastle manager. 2/16/2024 0 Comments Geometry wars 3 dimensionsThe graphics are stunning and console-quality, and there are six devastating super abilities, including Homing, Black Hole, Turret, and Detonator. Features 2/15/2024 0 Comments Azure backup types![]() Perform a native backup of SAP HANA, generate storage snapshots of Azure VM disks hosting the backup files, and back up the snapshots into an Azure Recovery Services vault. In addition, the Azure Storage snapshot feature does not guarantee file system consistency across multiple disks. However, you should keep in mind that snapshots do not include integrity checks that are part of Backint-based backups. There is also a corresponding benefit during restores, making this approach well suited for fast database recovery. The primary benefit of snapshots is their inherent ability to complete backups of large databases in a short amount of time, with a negligible impact on the availability of the SAP HANA databases as well as overall utilization of Azure VM network and storage resources. It is worth noting that Azure Backup automatically excludes from the scope of the snapshot the disks hosting redo logs with the Write Accelerator feature enabled. Typically, you implement these steps by using pre-snapshot and post-snapshot scripts and incorporate them into an Azure Backup job. In particular, prior to backup, it is necessary to quiesce database activity and, following the snapshot completion, resume it and delete no longer needed snapshots. It is important to point out that, in this case, in order for snapshots to be workload consistent, you have to take some additional steps. ![]() This functionality requires that the disks use the Premium SSD performance tier of Azure Storage and, as the result, is not available with Azure Ultra disks, otherwise fully supported as the alternative SAP HANA block storage option. Generate storage snapshots of Azure VM disks hosting the SAP HANA database and back up the snapshots into an Azure Recovery Services vault. Its primary drawback is the need for an extra step during backup and restore as well as for additional local disk space. The benefit of this approach is its ability to support practically any SAP HANA installation, or, for that matter, any workload that has the ability to perform native backups. Perform a native backup of SAP HANA to a local Azure VM disk and back up the disk’s file system into an Azure Recovery Services vault. This approach not only offers simplicity, but also provides extra benefits derived from the capabilities inherent to Backint, such as checksum-based integrity checks during backups and restores. Log backups follow the first full successful database backup, with configurable frequency (down to 15 minutes). In this case, Azure Backup leverages the SAP proprietary backup API referred to as Backint, which facilitates integration with SAP, allowing direct, streaming backup of SAP HANA database and redo logs into the vault (incidentally, the same mechanism is used by a number of third party backup vendors, such as Commvault). Back up SAP HANA Single Database Container (with HANA 1.x) and Multi-Database Container (with HANA 2.x) databases directly into an Azure Recovery Services vault. With this short introduction behind us, let’s review six different options to backup SAP HANA running in an Azure VM. The vault also offers several security and resiliency-related features that you can implement in order to further protect your workloads, such as geo-replication, soft-delete, and automatic notifications in case of events indicating potentially unauthorized or unintended destructive activities. The vault provides a backup management interface and persistent, long-term storage hosting backup data. While this is an Azure first-party service, delivered and supported by Microsoft, it is based on the NetApp’s ONTAP technology and, unlike other solutions presented here, does not integrate with Azure Backup.Īll of the remaining options not only support such integration but also rely, at least to some extent, on the existence of an Azure Recovery Services vault. Azure NetApp Files, which became generally available at the end of May 2019, could be potentially viewed as third category. The first one relied on Azure Backup while the other comprised third-party Marketplace offerings. Traditionally, these options could be grouped into two main categories. The purpose of this article is to provide an overview of these options. These capabilities include a number of options to perform backups of SAP HANA running in Azure virtual machines (VMs). Azure offers diverse backup capabilities, spanning a wide range of on-premises and cloud-based workloads. 2/15/2024 0 Comments Bow and arrow quiver![]() Quiver bags make great holiday, birthday or special occasion gifts kids can add to their archey collection and share when friends come over.įor one-of-a-kind toy bow and arrow sets shop Two Bros Bows archery kit for kids limited edition or combination sets along with our new devil sticks, available in fun and unique designs to perfectly capture your child’s personality. Carrots grow in patches, there's small trees dropping pogofruit from the cliffsides, and chickens spawn naturally there. Advantages of the Overgrowth - natural food sources. Never free-ranged anyone in the Overgrowth, but since it's an easier area to escape I'd go conservative. ![]() I've seen anywhere from 4-10 recommended for most largos. If you're keeping them in corrals, then depends how much you're willing to risk and how often you want to refill the auto-feeder and empty the plort collectors. And of course it looks like even more largos than I actually have, because the quantums send out ghosts even when they're happy. 30 maybe? 40? I know plort collection takes a while and I have to empty my vacpac partway through. I lost count of how many quantum-phosphors I have in the Grotto. IFIAK free-roaming quantums cannot feed themselves off a phase lemon tree because the fruit doesn't fall it just disappears. I would say quantums count as a tough food choice, since to get the phase lemons you have to shoot a different fruit into the tree first. Cross slimes that have easy food favorites with those who have tough ones to make maintenance easy. My other largos are rad-booms, crystal-rock, honey-hunters, mosaic-tabbies, and mosaic-pinks, plus two plots of fire slimes and one plot and a pool of puddles. I'd been doing other stuff and forgot to replant the cuberries, so they were out of food. I did have a group of them wander into the science area one night (thank goodness I was there and caught them before they left plorts by the tangles!) but that was back when gardens weren't permanent. But keeping them in corrals isn't much of an issue if you keep them well fed and provide a music box and/or toys. I let mine free-roam, and all 5 plots are cuberry trees. Quantum-phosphors in the grotto is an excellent way to keep them under control. I do have other largos in the isolated plot at the side of the barn, but it's far enough away there's no crossover problems. The adjoining two plots are both prickle pears, so if I spend too long exploring they can feed themselves. ![]() I crossed mine with dervishes, who can be even more dangerous if not kept happy, and put them in the science area. Contour lines may be either traced on a visible three-dimensional model of the surface, as when a photogrammetrist viewing a stereo-model plots elevation contours, or interpolated from the estimated surface elevations, as when a computer program threads contours through a network of observation points of area centroids. The configuration of these contours allows map readers to infer the relative gradient of a parameter and estimate that parameter at specific places.
